Implement the last-observation baseline and the gap report

Predict next-sample C. difficile abundance as the previous observed value for every eligible patient sample, then report mean absolute error alongside the distribution of days between samples. Deliverable: A baseline script and a table with patient_id, sample_index, gap_days, predicted, observed, and absolute_error.
