Recovering a simulated dark-matter halo
Can a weak-lensing estimator recover the mass of a known synthetic halo?
ReplicationReplication or benchmark. A fixed evaluator decides the outcome.
Success means
On 100 frozen simulated fields, achieve median absolute relative mass error at most 10% and report coverage of 90% uncertainty intervals. This tests a simulator, not the nature of dark matter.
